Algomi is a London-based financial technology start-up that was co-founded in June 2012 by three former UBS executives. Stu Taylor was managing director and global head of matched principal trading in fixed income at UBS, Robert Howes led the delivery of fixed-income solutions and Usman Khan managed various e-business products.

The Algomi team is currently made up 55 people and has offices in London and New York. It’s received funding from Lakestar, the venture capital firm that also backed Skype, Facebook, Spotify and Airbnb. (Yeah fintech is that cool.)
